A sign that I'm getting boring...or at least old

Why do I feel sad and sickened that Xmas is all about partying, boozing and buying? It's all about the pressure to have the best dress on, the best hair, the best shoes, the best bag when you're out at the best club with the best-looking people. YUCKS!!!!!
